This study examines the word-formation processes in the film Den of Thieves 2: Pantera (2025) from a morphological perspective. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, the research identifies slang in the movie script and analyzes the word-formation processes underlying its creation. The dataset consists of 63 slang terms extracted from the characters' utterances, analyzed using O’Grady’s (2009) framework, which includes compounding, clipping, affixation, reduplication, and conversion. The results indicate that while certain slang words, particularly those formed through clipping, retain meanings close to their original forms, the majority undergo significant semantic shifts. The findings further demonstrate that these slang expressions can be categorized into distinct morphological patterns based on their grammatical categories, encompassing both standard and non-standard forms.
