Accreditation is a crucial indicator for assessing the quality of educational institutions, requiring support from various units, including the University of Bengkulu's Faculty of Law reading room, which provides supporting accreditation documents such as collection reports, visitor statistics, borrowing, library free access, and other collaborative and administrative documents. However, archive management remains manual, resulting in slow and inefficient retrieval processes. This study aims to design a digital archives system to support accreditation using a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system development method refers to a prototyping model, encompassing the stages of communication, quick planning, modeling, quick design, prototype construction, deployment, delivery, and feedback. The results demonstrate an archives classification scheme that serves as a guideline for organizing and developing a digital system with the primary functions of processing, exporting and importing, searching, borrowing, and reporting archives. The implementation of this system transforms archives management from manual to digital, enabling faster, more accurate, and more structured archive management. Thus, the digital archives system significantly contributes to improving the effectiveness of archives management and supporting compliance with accreditation standards
